Job Summary:
Accenture Federal Services is committed to helping the US federal government enhance national security and improve lives through technology. The Data Architect will design and govern the data ecosystem, establishing the enterprise data model and ensuring data governance and quality for advanced analytics and AI/ML applications.
Responsibilities:
• The Data Architect will be responsible for designing and governing the entire data ecosystem.
• The architect will establish the enterprise data model, define standards for data storage (e.g., data lakes, warehouses, databases), and design the architecture for data ingestion, processing pipelines (ETL/ELT), and data access.
• They will work closely with the GRC and security teams to ensure data governance, data quality, and data protection policies are designed into the architecture from the start.
• The Data Architect's primary goal is to ensure that the data is findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR), enabling advanced analytics and AI/ML at scale.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years of additional equivalent experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of experience designing enterprise data architectures and models
• Active TS/SCI clearance
