Accent Care Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. • Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health concerns and formulate precise clinical diagnoses.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that align with the distinct needs and goals of each client.
• Utilize established evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy during individual, couple, and group sessions.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health issues or emergencies.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Educate clients and their families on various mental health disorders, treatment strategies, and community resources while advocating for their rights.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training sessions, workshops, and seminars to stay abreast of best practices in mental health therapy.

You will work with a diverse population of clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and transitional life issues. Your empathetic approach will help clients navigate their unique circumstances, facilitating personal growth and resilience. The ability to build rapport quickly through effective telecommunication is crucial as you engage with clients from different backgrounds.

• Active mental health therapy licensure (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) in the state of New York.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related fields is required.
• Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, along with a solid understanding of mental health disorders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting therapeutic relationships.
• A proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team-focused environment.
• A commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly with telehealth services, is preferred but not required for entry-level roles.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms is advantageous.

Accent Care Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by a robust sign-on bonus.
