Accent Care Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing therapeutic services to clients in a supportive and understanding manner. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions that promote mental health and overall wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health issues, crafting detailed clinical diagnoses and individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions that are tailored to meet the particular needs, strengths, and goals of each client.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring safety and stabilization during emergencies.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment findings, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care and resource sharing for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to support their journey towards mental wellness.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of the latest methodologies, techniques, and research in the field of mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Accent Care Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will have the opportunity to support children, adolescents, and adults, treating a spectrum of psychological and emotional concerns while fostering resilience and promoting personal growth among all demographics.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) in New York state.
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
  • Strong clinical assessment abilities, demonstrating effective diagnostic skills and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
