Fueling Federal Transformation:
Are you passionate about empowering federal teams with the skills they need to drive mission success? As an Instructional Training Consultant with Accenture Federal Services, you will design and facilitate impactful learning experiences that build workforce capabilities and prepare federal agencies for the challenges of tomorrow. By crafting innovative training materials and solutions and delivering engaging and impactful training sessions, you'll play a critical role in strengthening the skills of those who serve the nation.
The work:
  • Collaborate with federal clients to assess training needs and define learning objectives aligned with mission goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate training initiatives with broader change management and workforce transformation efforts.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create scalable, engaging learning solutions.
  • Develop learner-focused instructional materials, including eLearning modules, classroom training, and job aids.
  • Facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and presentations for federal audiences.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Leverage technology and digital tools to enhance training delivery and learner engagement.
  • Ensure all training materials comply with federal standards and accessibility requirements (e.g., Section 508 compliance).

Here's what you need:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years' experience in one or a mix of the following areas:
    • Instructional Design
    • Training Development and Delivery
    • Design Thinking
  • Include 2-3 years of experience supporting clients in a federal environment
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices, including experience ensuring Section 508 compliance for accessible training materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate) and operating within Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • U.S. citizenship required to meet federal client requirements.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience working as a consultant on change management
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) Certifications, PROSCI, or Instructional Design Certifications
  • Experience with designing, developing, and delivering trainings for a mid- or large-scale technology implementations
  • Experience leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) tools and techniques to develop materials and enhance delivery
  • Familiar with digital authoring tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, PowToon, Mentimeter, Camtasia, SnagIt, Adobe Captivate, and Articulate 360 to accelerate learning and adoption

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
