Our mission is to prepare every student for success in high school, college, and career through a rigorous STEAM-focused education, a joyful culture of high expectations, and strong community partnerships. Summary

Individualized Learning Facilitator lead structured, data-driven learning during the Individualized Learning Period to accelerate student achievement in math and literacy-so every student grows. You ensure students engage deeply with adaptive learning platforms, monitor progress daily, provide targeted support, and partner with teachers and leaders to help students meet ambitious goals.

Reports to: Dean of Instruction
Directly Manages: None
Location: Fort Worth, TX (on-site)

Compensation: Hourly (non-exempt; eligible for overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act)

Schedule: Full-time, school calendar

Key ResponsibilitiesProfessional Learning & Team Contribution
  • Engage in coaching and professional development; implement action steps and reflect on impact.
  • Collaborate with teachers and leaders to align IL support with classroom instruction and student needs.
  • Support campus duties (arrival, transitions, lunch, dismissal) and maintain accurate records.
Student Learning & IL Execution
  • Facilitate structured IL blocks using adaptive learning platforms (e.g., math and literacy software).
  • Ensure students are on-task, engaged, and meeting usage and performance expectations.
  • Provide real-time support to clarify misconceptions and reinforce learning.
  • Maintain strong routines and procedures that maximize learning time.
Assessment, Data & Acceleration
  • Monitor student progress daily using platform data and internal trackers.
  • Identify students who are off-track and provide targeted intervention and support.
  • Confer with students regularly about their goals, progress, and next steps.
  • Support small group or individualized instruction aligned to student needs.
Classroom Culture
  • Build and maintain a safe, structured, and joyful learning environment aligned with FWSA culture systems.
  • Teach and reinforce clear routines, procedures, and expectations.
  • Utilize the school-wide behavior system with fidelity to support student success.
Technology & Systems Management
  • Ensure devices and systems are functioning and used appropriately during IL.
  • Troubleshoot basic technology issues and escalate when needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student data and usage records.
Minimum & Preferred QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to manage student behavior and maintain a structured learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic proficiency with technology and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear, compassionate communicator; organized; growth-minded; mission-aligned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience working with students (school, tutoring, or youth programs preferred).
  • Experience with adaptive learning platforms (e.g., i-Ready, Achieve3000).
  • Experience in a Texas public or charter school setting.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.
