Maintain accurate case documentation in compliance with FERPA and institutional guidelines.
Build partnerships with community organizations to promote summer college readiness initiatives and support prospective and current students.
Foster a welcoming, student-centered environment within the Raiders First Student Center.
Cultivate relationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners to expand mentoring and networking opportunities.
Maintain knowledge of university policies, procedures, and student support resources to ensure accurate guidance.
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate student employees supporting outreach, programming, and daily operations.
Manage departmental social media and website content to promote programs, services, and student engagement.
Design and implement holistic programs that support the university's strategic priorities for student success, persistence, and retention.
Develop and implement communication and outreach strategies, including email campaigns, phone outreach, and academic recovery initiatives, to engage students experiencing academic or personal challenges.
Foster engagement through academic enrichment opportunities, peer involvement, and resource-based programming.
Ensure programs align with university policies, state requirements, and institutional priorities.
Use institutional data to identify student success gaps and develop targeted initiatives that improve progression and retention.
Collect and analyze assessment data and student feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, empathy, and sound judgment in all interactions.
Support resource fairs and campus-wide programs, including Orientation, Green and Gold Days, Explore Wright State Days, Fall Fest, and April Craze.
Collaborate with academic colleges and campus partners, including Academic Advising, Academic Success Centers, Admissions, First-Year Experiences, University Honors Program, Financial Aid, Career Services, Residence Life, Counseling and Wellness, Student Advocacy and Wellness, and others, to coordinate referrals and deliver comprehensive student support.
Serve on university committees and work groups focused on student success and institutional effectiveness.
