Operating Title Program Coordinator, Housing Facilities & Operations Long Classification Title Program Coordinator I Campus Location Durham Department UNH Housing Summary of Position
Under the supervision of the Housing Facilities and Operations Manager, this position is a program coordinator for the array of operational student staff within Housing. The program coordinator has several responsibilities that includes the Housing maintenance request system of approximately 1.2 million square feet of residential buildings. The program coordinator maintains the organization of key systems and assists the Housing electronic card access team. They manage the signage program for all of the residential buildings across campus. They support and develop the repair crew for fall, spring, and summer semesters. They support the Housing pest and mold management systems. The program coordinator reviews and updates the standard operating procedures for Housing.

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of facilities management related experience.
  • Position requires strong oral and written communication skills, computer skills and a valid driver's license.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Position prefers candidates with strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish languages.
  • Experience working in housing facilities at an institution of higher education and one year of past supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of building trades, grounds, and housekeeping fields as well as basic building life safety and fire codes.
  • Knowledge of construction materials means and methods.
  • Financial analysis skills related to facilities management, purchasing and procurement experience.
