Job description

Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana is seeking a full-time Assistant Director for their Family Medicine Residency Program to join seven (7) existing Family Physician faculty members. We are looking for a Family Physician who has strong teaching/leadership skills to provide outpatient and inpatient adult medical care/supervision (negotiable) with our family medicine residents and other attending physicians. Some highlights of the position are as follows:

 Three (3) half-days for a private practice; approx. 70% teaching, 30% private practice (negotiable).
 Other Duties: staffing outpatient clinics; one lecture per month
 If inpatient option chosen, Family Medicine service home call 1 weeknight every other week and every 8th weekend on average
 Predominantly a Medicaid population for the residents.
 Eight (8) residents per year within the program, total of 24

Candidates must be board certified in Family Medicine with a minimum of 2 years recent clinic practice experience preferred. EMR experience is preferred and Epic competency is a plus. Must have or be eligible for an Indiana medical license.
