Schedule: 9am-5pm

Pay Rate: $90,000-$110,000

Now, we’re looking to expand our team with a dedicated and dynamic Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping students thrive.

Accepting applicants for full time and part time, ESY only or all year

Who We’re Looking For:

Physical Therapist (PT/DPT or PTA) The ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, and student-centered—ready to support learners in developing the functional mobility, gross motor skills, and balance needed for success across all learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development with a focus on gross motor development, functional mobility, and safe environmental access.

  • Develop and implement individualized and small-group physical therapy sessions.

  • Collaborate closely with educators, BCBAs, and families to support safe and functional mobility and independence.

  • Develop strategies for safe navigation of the school environment (e.g., stairs, bus, playground).

  • Provide consultation to staff on proper positioning, mobility techniques, and safe lifting/transferring to support students’ needs throughout the school day.

  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of New York.

  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays (preferred).

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

  • Passion for inclusive, strengths-based, and functional skill-building.

  • Comfortable working in a team-based, data-driven environment.
