Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine is currently seeking a General Internal Medicine physician to join our growing Department of Medicine located in Southern New Jersey. This is a full-time position with an academic faculty appointment. The selected candidate will be expected to provide appropriate, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary care. Responsibilities include office practice, off-site clinic sessions, call coverage and teaching students in all of these settings.
The candidate selected for this position must hold the following:
  • Valid NJ Medical License
  • CDS
  • DEA
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible

In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this AAUP position is:
  • Instructor: ($ 100,787 to $ 136,800) *
  • Assistant Professor: ($ 123,083 to $ 167,264) *
  • Associate Professor: ($ 146,089 to $ 198,535) *
  • Full Professor: ($ 170,255 to $ 231,285) *

*Placement within the range is determined by candidate's qualifications, professional experience, and other factors. For clinical faculty positions, additional compensation paid through supplemental funding based on regional benchmarking standards and internal equity by specialty.
Our main clinical campus is located in the Philadelphia metropolitan area approximately 8 miles from Philadelphia, 1 hour from the Atlantic Ocean and 2 hours from New York City.
NOTE: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US. The university will not sponsor an applicant's work visa for this position.
NOTE: This faculty appointment is Tenure eligible and may be granted upon successful completion of criteria listed in the Rowan-Virtua SOM Faculty Bylaws.
NOTE: Faculty Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor is pending review and recommendation made by the Faculty Affairs Committee.
