Job description

Our Chick-fil-A locations at 82nd & University and 114th & Quaker are looking for motivated and restaurant experienced individuals to step into our Shift Lead Role. Our Shift Leads are integral to our operations in both the front of house and the kitchen, ensuring that our shifts run smoothly, our Team Members are engaged, and that our team is successful in meeting or exceeding business strategy goals. MINUMUM REQUIREMENTS

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

ROLE SUMMARY

The SHIFT LEAD is responsible for supporting the LEADERSHIP TEAM in restaurant operations including but not limited to: Personnel Management, Inventory Management, Operational Excellence, Ensuring remarkable guest experiences, Execution of business growth plans, Team building and development, and Maintaining Chick-fil-A policies,

procedures and brand image.

  • SHIFT OPERATIONS - Position board, break schedule, Speed of Service, Productivity, Transitions, Restocking, Product transfers and Guest complaints are entered correctly
  • SHIFT AWARENESS - Ensuring shift is run with Operational Excellence and Remarkable Guest Experiences
  • CASH ACCOUNTABILITY - Register till accuracy, Changefund accuracy
  • INFORM - Ensuring End of Night is closed out accurately in Inform
  • POLICY/PROCEDURE ACCOUNTABILITY - Ensuring that Team is held accountable to Handbook policies, Pathway procedures, etc
  • ACTION PLANS - Ensuring that Action Plans and Business Strategies designed by Leadership are communicated, executed, and followed up

FACILITIES

  • CLEANLINESS - Ensuring dining room, restrooms, FoH and Kitchen are cleaned during daily transitions and closings; ensuring that the FoH and Kitchen cleaning board tasks are assigned, completed properly, and followed up
  • MAINTENANCE - Ensuring that any FoH or Kitchen repairs/replacements needed are communicated
  • STORAGE AREAS - Ensuring that storage areas and Walk-ins are kept organized and clean

TRAINING

  • NEW HIRES - Ensure that New Hires are engaged and welcomed
  • TEAM COACHING - Ensure that Team Members are coached to standards and praised
  • for actions and behaviors
  • MORALE - Ensure that any Team Member concerns are communicated

HOSPITALITY

  • CHAMPION - Owning the level of Hospitality and Service shown by the Team in ensuring guests have a Remarkable Experience by welcoming guests, using Core 4, staying engaged at window, and executing table touches
  • KEY CONCEPTS - Ensure Team Members know and use Core 4, Second Mile Service, Food Safety 5, and H.E.A.R.D

FOOD SAFETY

  • FIFO - Ensuring the proper storage and rotation of food products
  • COMPLIANCE - Ensuring compliance and training for all Food Safety guidelines
  • DAILY CRITICALS - Ensuring that Safe Daily Criticals are completed on time

CATERING

  • ORDERS - Ensure that catering orders are taken and entered correctly
