Job description

This position is fully remote in California.

About the position
As a Workers' Compensation Court Hearing Representative, you will support legal proceedings related to workers' compensation cases. This role requires a strong understanding of legal processes and exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that all necessary documentation and information is accurately prepared and presented for court hearings. This position is fully remote but the candidate must reside in California.

Responsibilities
Conduct interviews with clients to gather relevant information for court hearings
Research and analyze legal documents related to workers' compensation cases
Assist in preparing legal documents such as briefs and motions
Proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations

Requirements
Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role is preferred
Ability to navigate through complex legal documents and terminology
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in conducting legal research and analyzing information
2 years of paralegal experience required
4 years of research experience required
