Job Title: Bursar Coordinator (Bilingual Spanish)

Ideal Home Care Services was founded with the unique mission of providing in-home care services to not just seniors, but to others who may benefit from them as well. Recovering surgery patients, expectant mothers, physically challenged individuals, veterans and car accident victims may all have a difficult time caring for themselves in the home.

Position Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Bursar Coordinator for a minimum of 2 years or 2 years experience as a bookkeeper.

  • Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular), QuickBooks or other accounting system.

  • Strong financial management skills.

  • Knowledge of accounting procedures and best practices.

  • Familiarity with budget preparation and cash flow management.

  • Solid time management skills with an ability to prioritize work.

  • Excellent analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations.

  • HS diploma/GED required.

Duties:

  • Oversee day-to-day cash management.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.

  • Submit delinquent accounts to collection.

  • Keep organized books of tuition fees and files of receipts.

  • Process student refunds as per refund policy.

  • Process students' tuition, books, uniforms and other supplies ensure that students pay tuition timely.

  • Work with the accountant to review payments.

  • Maintain inventory and order supplies.

  • Fax and scan documents.

  • Attend meetings and other campus events.

  • Communicate with other departments.

  • Provide reports to administrators and other government agencies.

  • Liaise with local authorities and school Governors.

  • Answer the phone and transfer calls.

  • Other responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
