A 7A-3P shift refers to a work schedule where an employee is expected to work from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This is an eight-hour shift, commonly found in healthcare, hospitality, and other industries that require coverage throughout the day. The shift is typically considered a 'day shift' and may include responsibilities such as providing direct services, administrative work, or customer support, depending on the job. The early start can mean handling patient admissions, discharge preparations, and documentation during peak morning hours.
