What are some common challenges faced by Hydration Nurses during mobile or in-home visits?

Hydration Nurses often encounter logistical challenges when providing mobile or in-home IV therapy, such as navigating traffic, locating clients’ residences, and ensuring all equipment is properly transported and sanitized. Additionally, they must adapt to varying home environments that may lack optimal conditions for sterile procedures. Effective communication with clients and maintaining clear records are essential for safety and compliance. Despite these challenges, Hydration Nurses benefit from flexible schedules and the opportunity to build strong patient relationships outside of traditional clinical settings.
