Description

Summary:

Responsible for stocking supplies as required for kitchen and production use. Responsible for proper storage of products for preparation. Prepare all food products as directed by Chef. Help maintain proper sanitation in all areas.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Knowledge of use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • Knowledge of preparation of items such as sauces, soups, meats and vegetables.
  • Advanced knife skills.
  • Assist with kitchen inventory and stock rotation as needed.
  • Keep dry storage and walk-ins cleaned and stocked.
  • Must ensure the highest degree of sanitation is kept to at all times.
  • Prior experience in a high volume kitchen is a plus.
  • Ability to carry out policies and procedures of Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.
  • This position is not limited to those duties listed in the job description. Duties and responsibilities can be changed, expanded, reduced or deleted to meet business needs of the company.
  • This position is an overnight/graveyard/3rd shift position.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.


Requirements

  • Responsible for stocking supplies as required for kitchen and production use. Responsible for proper storage of products for preparation.ย 
  • Prepare all food products as directed by Chef.ย 
  • Help maintain proper sanitation in all areas.ย 
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work overnight/graveyard/3rd Shift.


Work Environment:

Work entails various conditions of noise levels, temperature, illumination, air quality, crowding, balance and handling of sharp and hot objects. Long hours with over time required at times. Work requires knowledge and use of chemicals and electrical equipment.ย ย Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Employees working in the Casino or Bowling Center may be exposed to second-hand smoke.
