Job description

Use required pneumatic/hand tools to assemble product per Company and customer specifications. Understand associated parts and their relationship to the end product. Must be able to facilitate all aspects of the assembly process.
Essential Functions:
  • Must be able to organize all aspects of the assembly process.
  • Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.
  • Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
  • Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Coordinator.
  • Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities.
  • Must possess a high level of attention to details.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Training
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 yrs. preferred

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
  • Ability to work overtime, as production demands require.
  • Must be able to utilize torque wrenches according to specs.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.
  • Must follow all safety practices and policies.

Physical Demands
  • Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp.
  • Frequent use of firm grasping, fine manipulation, and pitching.
  • Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.

Environmental Conditions
  • Non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.
  • Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
