We are hiring for multiple roles, including Machine Operators and Press Operator Assistants.

Responsibilities:
  1. Digital Press Operator:
  • Sets-up job in accordance with job ticket and product specification documents, including pre-flighting files, making color adjustments, staging and queuing.
  • Completes job start-up, quality sign-off, including specification and visual checks.
  • Operates digital press to produce products in conformance with customer specifications while minimizing waste and maintaining press efficiency.
  • Requisitions supplies including inks, coatings, machine supplies, parts and tools.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots the press and related equipment; responsible for preventative maintenance program.
  • Safety: Follow all safety guidelines for proper material handling, machine, and tooling use.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

  1. Press Operator Assistant:
  • Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.
  • Attains and maintains job objectives related to planning and execution of jobs and quick changes.
  • Assists in make-ready operations and external clean-up activities.
  • Cleans ink pans and ancillary equipment; strips plates; locates dies.
  • Works with press operator to view labels using strobe light when required.
  • Completes quality assurance documentation as required by customer and MCC.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization; works overtime as assigned.

Qualifications:
  1. Digital Press Operator:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience operating digital press and/or 2 years web/offset experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze communications & work instructions; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Mechanical aptitude; proficient with production materials, quality methods, color standards.
  • Advanced computer skills; prepress/preflight knowledge preferred.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds;
  • Specific vision abilities required include color differentiation, close/distance vision and ability to adjust focus
  1. Press Operator Assistant:
  • High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience helpful.
  • Ability to communicate well; read job tickets; read ruler; differentiate colors.
  • Ability to input data; work in team with urgency.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds;
  • Assertive, solution-focused; able to multitask in fast-paced environment.
  • Specific vision abilities required include color differentiation, close/distance vision and ability to adjust focus
  • Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused and follow instructions
