Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday, 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
* $1.50 Shift Premium for 2nd & 3rd Shift *
* $1,000 Sign-On Bonus | $500 at 6 Months of Employment | $500 at 1 Year of Employment *

This position moves material to areas of the plant using a forklift or combilift. Materials could be 20' to 40' long and weigh up to 15,000 lbs. The material handler also moves farm wagon style trailers and needs to be able to back them up.

What you'll do
  • Material Handling
    • Able to load and unload semi-trailers and flatbeds with most loads
    • Able to run forklift and combilift in a safe manner
    • Able to run crane to assist in loading or unloading material as needed
    • Able to stage material to keep multiple areas productive
    • Able to organize and track parts placement and storage in racks or staging areas
    • Able to use traveler to keep product moving to next step
    • Able to fill in for other material handlers or shipping personnel
  • General
    • Keep shop and yard clean and orderly
    • Assist with yearly inventory
    • Inform supervisor of any needed materials
  • Package Materials for Shipment
    • Skid/Band steel rails and bridge joints for shipment
    • Label skids for shipment with job #, weight and skid number
  • Rail Inventory
    • Pull rail for saw, correct shape and grade
    • Return unused rail to correct pile
    • Verify quantity issued matches quantity used
  • Preventative Maintenance
    • Perform safety checks on forklifts
    • Maintains work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition
    • Reports defective material and faulty equipment to supervisor immediately
  • Technical
    • Knowledgeable in Excel
    • Familiarity utilizing Outlook
    • Experience utilizing Oracle preferred
What need
The ideal candidate will be forklift certified and have experience operating a combilift.
