Customer Service Representative

We are seeking two Customer Service Representatives to join a team in Elkhorn, WI. These are not traditional call center positions. We are looking for customer service professionals with experience handling quoting, order entry, and ERP systems. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a key point of contact for customers, dealers, and vendors while managing inquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the order lifecycle. This is a direct hire opportunity on 1st shift.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, dealers, and vendors
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely, professional, and solutions-oriented manner
  • Prepare accurate quotes and process customer orders and purchase orders
  • Provide pricing, product information, and order status updates
  • Enter and maintain customer orders accurately within ERP and CRM systems
  • Communicate backorders, short shipments, and other order-related issues to customers
  • Maintain accurate and complete customer and project information
  • Distribute customer correspondence related to order entry and order updates
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and order discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely fulfillment and shipment of orders
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Prepare and distribute reports as requested by management
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding order status and potential delays
  • Identify potential issues and communicate appropriate solutions
  • Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism in every interaction
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration across departments
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy when entering orders, pricing, and customer information
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment

Customer Service Representative Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous customer service experience preferred

- Experience with quoting and order entry

- ERP experience

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Customer Experience and/or Business Central is highly preferred

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems

- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems

- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team

- Extended periods of sitting and computer use

- Frequent use of telephone and computer systems

- Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
