    The Administrative Assistant is responsible for greeting visitors to our Miami location, as well as answering and directing telephone calls. This individual will also help maintain the subject database while adhering to HIPAA and GCP guidelines. Other duties include ordering office supplies, maintaining the postage meter, and distributing and sending mail.

    Since its inception, QPS has been assisting pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies with their drug development efforts by providing a full range of services, including Early Phase Clinical and Phase II – IV Clinical Research services. The QPS location in Miami, Florida is a multi-specialty research center employing clinical research professionals, including board-certified physicians, in a 32,000 square foot space. To meet the needs of our clients, we strive to employ talented, caring and committed individuals who will work collaboratively towards achieving our mission of improving human health and the quality of life.

    The Job

    • Acknowledge any Patients/Subjects/Monitors/Site Visitors to our Miami office and review sign-in sheet for proper compliance purposes
    • Print and review daily subject schedule
    • Distribute and review intake forms to subjects
    • Distribute voicemails and faxes
    • Restock paper in fax machines and copy machines in the morning and afternoon
    • Pick up and distribute mail daily
    • Order supplies on Mondays and Wednesdays (depending on workflow)
    • Assist Clinical Conductor with payments and subject visits
    • Assist with RSVP fingerprint system

    Requirements

    • High school graduate or equivalent required
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
    • Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office proficiency and accurate typing skills
