With over 10,000 campaigns executed globally, IMT partners with brands to design and build high-impact physical environments that connect people to products in the real world. We believe there are no boundaries and no limits.

Who Do We Want?

IMT is seeking a mid-level 3D Designer with a strong production mindset and experience designing consumer-facing brand activations. This role is ideal for a designer who understands how creative concepts translate into buildable environments and can collaborate closely with creative, production, and fabrication teams.

You should be comfortable designing for public spaces, thinking through scale, materials, durability, and audience flow-while keeping brand storytelling at the center of the experience.

Scope & Details

Working with Art Directors, Creative Directors, and Production teams, the 3D Designer supports brand activations from concept through fabrication. Responsibilities include spatial layouts, 3D modeling, renderings, and production-support design for pop-ups, mobile tours, experiential installs, and immersive environments.

This role is heavily production-oriented and requires an understanding of how designs are fabricated, transported, installed, and experienced in real-world conditions.

Responsibilities

Translate creative direction and brand guidelines into three-dimensional activation designs
Develop 3D models, layouts, and renderings for brand activations
Create design elevations and production-ready visuals to support fabrication
Collaborate with production managers, fabricators, and vendors to ensure feasibility
Integrate 2D graphics, signage, and branding into physical environments
Consider audience flow, interaction points, durability, and accessibility
Revise designs based on internal, client, and fabrication feedback
Maintain clean, organized design files throughout the project lifecycle
Support quality control prior to fabrication and installation

Requirements & Skills

Proven experience as a 3D Designer in experiential marketing or brand activations
Strong portfolio demonstrating pop-ups, mobile tours, or immersive environments
Proficiency in 3D design software (Rhino, SketchUp, Maya, Cinema 4D, CAD, or similar)
Strong understanding of scale, materials, and fabrication for temporary builds
Experience creating elevations and presentation-quality renderings
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience collaborating with 2D designers, production teams, and fabricators
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Degree in Design, Environmental Design, Architecture, or related field is a plus
