We create next-generation Virtual Reality Content that represents a new form of entertainment. We bridge the gap between video games and movies, providing a level of immersion, emotional engagement and realism never before seen.
Job Description
- Designing concept art of characters, locations and objects for our VR titles
- Designing storyboards for our VR Titles
- Working closely with the CCO and the development team(s)
- leading the concept artist team
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in game development
- Experience with Photoshop, Painter, etc.
- A basic understanding of using 3DS Max and/or Maya
- An exceptional understanding of human and animal anatomy and a keen eye towards form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regards to illustration and design
- The ability to carry an idea from the conceptual phase to the finished illustration and an understanding of translating these ideas to real-time game environments
- Superior eye for light, value, composition, color, staging, and detail in environmental design
- Understanding the unique approach required for creating VR experiences
- Self-motivation & Good communication skills
- Creativity and ability to work as part of a team
- A passion for virtual reality
- Art education
- Professional experience in a position of similar nature
- English language
- Strong team player and leader by example
Additional Information
Pluses
- Shipped AAA PC or console titles as a Senior Concept Artist
- Work experience with Unreal Engine 4
- Understanding the difference between developing for VR compared to traditional game development.
