As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you’ll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC)! We are looking for engineers who are passionate about Architectural Models. You will be responsible for the pre-silicon functional and performance modeling of our industry leading low power GPUs. This includes developing detailed models of the architectural and micro-architectural aspects of various blocks and IPs in the GPU and how they operate within the broader GPU design.
Description
As a Graphics (GPU) Architectural Modeling Engineer, you will:
- Help creating architectural models for the development, validation, and verification of graphics processing unit (GPU) design.
- Contribute to architectural models for hardware/software (HW/SW) co-validation.
- Contribute to architectural models for performance validation and correlation.
- Support GPU hardware and software teams during model and design bring-up.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Computer Graphics.
Understanding of Computer Memory Hierarchy.
Understanding of Computer Architecture.
Familiar with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with C++ Programming.
Knowledge of Computer Architecture.
Minimum of BS degree.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,300 and $194,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
