Summary: 

At Age of Learning, we're looking for an exceptional Senior Visual Designer who thrives on solving creative challenges across a diverse range of digital and brand experiences. As part of the Marketing Creative team, you'll help shape how millions of families experience our products—bringing our brands to life through thoughtful, engaging, and high-quality visual design. This role focuses primarily on user acquisition creative—including paid advertising, creative testing, email campaign design, in-app events/features, and website landing pages—with occasional opportunities to contribute to broader initiatives. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams to transform business goals into visually engaging experiences that elevate our brand while driving measurable results. We're looking for someone with exceptional visual craft, strong conceptual thinking, an eye for character design, and the versatility to design across a wide variety of mediums. You'll report to the VP of Creative within Marketing.

Responsibilities: 
  • Concept and design best-in-class creative across digital, mobile, web, social, email, and app store brand experiences for ABCmouse, thoughtfully incorporating 2D and 3D character art and branded visual elements.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the ABCmouse visual ecosystem—including 2D and 3D character art, illustration styles, and brand assets—to ensure consistent, high-quality creative across every customer touchpoint. 
  • Adopt an AI-fi rst creative workfl ow by thoughtfully leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate research, ideation, concept development, and production while applying strong creative judgment, craftsmanship, and brand standards to every fi nal deliverable.
  • Create compelling creative for performance marketing and user acquisition campaigns that balance engaging storytelling with measurable business objectives.
  • Design in-app promotional experiences, lifecycle marketing emails, and other customer-facing assets that drive engagement, retention, and subscription growth.
  • Stay deeply connected to the ABCmouse product by regularly exploring new features, content, and user experiences while staying informed on ongoing product enhancements and releases to ensure marketing creative authentically refl ects the evolving product experience and resonates with families.
  • Partner closely with the Design Research and Consumer Insights teams to understand customer behaviors, motivations, and feedback, ensuring creative solutions are grounded in research and aligned with the needs of parents and children.
  • Partner closely with Growth Marketing, Product, Brand, Partnerships, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams throughout the creative process—from concept through fi nal execution.
  • Explore multiple creative concepts and iterate quickly based on stakeholder feedback, user insights, testing, and performance data.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay current on design trends, emerging technologies, AI-powered creative tools, and evolving digital experiences to continually elevate the quality, innovation, and effectiveness of our work.
  • Contribute to creative excellence by providing thoughtful feedback during critiques, collaborating across disciplines, and sharing knowledge with visual designers, motion artists, and video editors.
  • Champion a culture of creativity, curiosity, collaboration, continuous learning, and continuous improvement across the Marketing Creative team.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of professional visual design experience in an agency or in-house creative team, preferably within technology, gaming, entertainment, consumer products, or digital subscriptions.
  • Outstanding portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design across a variety of mediums, including brand, digital marketing, web, UI, presentation, and campaign work.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and modern digital design workflows.
  • Strong understanding of typography, composition, color, layout, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience designing responsive digital experiences across desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Ability to balance creativity with strategic thinking and business objectives.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting creative work to stakeholders with confidence.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
  • A passion for crafting beautiful, purposeful work that helps families and inspires children to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is below. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Total Compensation:
$115,000—$135,000 USD
Age of Learning currently provides:
