Are you ready to revolutionize the gaming industry with your expertise in character art? We're currently seeking a Senior Character Artist to join our team. 

As a Senior 3D Character Artist, you will play a key role in bringing the iconic and terrifying world of Dead by Daylight to life. Working closely with Leads, Art Directors, and multidisciplinary teams, you will create high-quality character assets and cosmetic while maintaining the project's artistic vision and technical standards. You will take ownership of complex and hero characters, contribute to pipeline improvements, mentor less experienced artists, and help drive visual excellence across the game. This role is ideal for an experienced artist with a strong artistic eye, and a passion for creating memorable horror experiences. 

In this role you will :
  • Create high-quality game assets, including characters, clothing, hair, textures, materials, and supporting props, ensuring they meet the artistic vision and quality standards of the project. 

  • Own the creation of complex and hero character assets from concept interpretation through final implementation, while delivering high-quality work within production timelines. 

  • Optimize assets for performance while respecting technical constraints, game engine requirements, and established production pipelines. 

  • Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Leads, Technical Artists, and other disciplines to ensure artistic and technical alignment throughout development. 

  • Contribute to pipeline improvements, and the adoption of new tools, techniques, and workflows that enhance production efficiency and asset quality. 

What we're looking for:
  • 6+ years of experience as a 3D Character Artist in the video game industry, with experience delivering high-quality character assets for shipped titles. 

  • Strong expertise in character modeling, sculpting, texturing, and material creation using tools such as Maya or Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop. 

  • Experience creating realistic characters, clothing, and hair with a strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of anatomy, form, and visual storytelling. 

  • Solid understanding of game art production pipelines, including game-ready topology, UV unwrapping, baking, optimization, LOD creation, and asset integration into Unreal Engine. 

  • A strong portfolio showcasing realistic character art and game-ready assets. 

Dans ce role tu devras :
