JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at  $16.25 per hour.

Shift: 6:00 am- 2:30 pm with opportunities for Overtime

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is for a machine Operator in trim department. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of production techniques, great attention to detail, and a dedication to safety. Overtime is anticipated with this full-time, direct hire opportunity.

  • Ability to read and comprehend documents including but not limited to policy manuals, safety rules/programs, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and simple correspondence
  • In addition, the ability to communicate information effectively one-on-one and in small group situations and settings is required
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to perform work instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form a must. In addition, the ability to solve problems, which involve multiple variables in a standard situation, is required
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with a diversified work force
  • Be willing to cross train and be promotable
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
  • Experience with forklift and/or overhead crane operation a plus
  • Comfort and familiarity with power hand tools
  • Willingness to train, certify, and operate forklift and overhead crane
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
