Precision Machinist โ€“ Surface Grinding


Near Nashville, TN | $20โ€“$25/hr + OT

Join a leading precision shop specializing in machining and surface grinding. At Moeller Precision Tool, youโ€™ll work in a clean, climate-controlled environment producing high-quality tooling components using modern equipmentโ€”including surface grinders, CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual machines, and EDM wire technology.

Pay & Benefits

  • $20.00 โ€“ $25.00/hr (based on experience)
  • Overtime paid at 1.5ร— after 40 hours

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Perform surface grinding setups (manual grinding, fixturing, blocks)
  • Execute precision machining of tool steel components
  • Read blueprints and machine to tight tolerances

  • Work across machining and surface grinding operations

What You Need

  • Experience in machining (manual or CNC)
  • Hands-on surface grinding experience preferred
  • Background in tool steel machining strongly preferred
  • Blueprint reading skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
  • High school diploma or GED

*Preferred*: Tool steel and Surface Grinding experience.


Schedule

  • Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:30/5:30 PM (Monโ€“Fri)
  • 45โ€“50 hours/week (OT Required)
  • Occasional Saturdays
