Job description

Service Wire Company, a premier supplier of industrial and utility wire and cable, is currently seeking a 3rd shift Machine Operator Helper in Phoenix, AZ. If you are looking to join a great organization and a chance to become a part of our growing team, this may be the opportunity for you!
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload reels
  • Set equipment parameters on rewinding, auto winders, and other related equipment
  • Follow all documented instructions including detailed packaging specifications
  • Perform basic quality inspections of final product
  • Have sufficient knowledge of extrusion process to be able to operate the line while the operator is away
  • Prepare legible reports and record daily production information
  • Maintain safety standards and organized work environment

Knowledge/Skills/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma) or one year related industrial experience or equivalent training
  • Basic math and measuring skills
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions and directions
  • Ability to stand and move about facility for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Assistance provided as needed.
  • Ability to operate fast-paced equipment

Shift Schedule and Information
  • Must be available to work Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7:30am $1.50/hr shift differential offered.
