Machine Operator

Location: Maricopa, AZ
Shift: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $18.00/hour

Join Our Team as a Machine Operator

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Machine Operator to join our production team in Maricopa, AZ. This Machine Operator position plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by mechanically combining raw materials and operating production equipment used to create finished products. The ideal Machine Operator will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery, maintaining production quality standards, and ensuring equipment is functioning properly throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate computer-controlled production systems that process multiple raw material ingredients in a mixing environment.
  • Understand and support the mixing of active solution vessels, premixes, and raw material bases used in production.
  • Set up machines at the beginning of each shift to ensure proper operation.
  • Monitor machine performance throughout production runs to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and production issues with limited supervision.
  • Perform machine testing procedures to verify optimal performance.
  • Calibrate equipment at the start and end of shifts as required.
  • Maintain and clean machines before, during, and after production.
  • Feed production information, including speeds, sizes, and specifications, into machine control systems.
  • Load and place parts into semi-automated production equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on finished products.
  • Perform safety audits and equipment safety checks.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance activities are completed as scheduled.
  • Maintain accurate records of raw materials, samples, production activities, and equipment operations.
  • Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility.
  • Ensure materials and supplies are stocked and available for production needs.
  • Complete daily checklists, equipment inspections, and calibration records.
  • Maintain activity logs and downtime reports.
  • Keep assigned work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or industrial experience preferred.
