Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Assemblers for the 1st shift at one of our state-of-the-art manufacturing plants. You may be assigned to Plant 2, 3, or 4, where we assemble large HVAC units. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with voluntary overtime currently available on two out of four weekends. Overtime may become mandatory with notice from the production supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive assembly tasks at a designated station within the facility.
  • Help in assembling large AC units for commercial use, such as in apartment complexes and hospitals.
  • Adapt to changing work assignments based on customer needs.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools daily.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and participate in safety training during the first week.
  • Engage in brazing, soldering, operating machines and presses, and hanging and unhanging parts once trained.
  • Conduct quality checks and tests on units before dispatch.
  • Report any malfunctions or defects to the production supervisor.
  • Progressively learn to assemble components inside the units and understand blueprints.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience.
  • Physically inclined with the ability to bend, twist, and lift 40 lbs repetitively.
  • Willingness to climb into large AC units for assembly purposes.
  • Good attitude and eagerness to learn, as training will be provided from the ground up.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 year of assembly experience is preferred.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools.
  • Electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude are beneficial.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
