Hanvey Engineering & Design is a premier builder of mobile business vans, grooming vans, dental vans and other specialty vehicles. We are a fast growing company with opportunity for your career growth. We are seeking full-time, first shift Entry Level Candidates with a variety of skills and experience to assist in building and installing components in custom vehicles. Our company is a fast-paced production facility seeking individual contributors that have demonstrated competency operating a variety of tools including, but not limited to table saws, chop saws, and misc. hand power tools. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Installing walls, ceilings, floors and other components.
  • Assisting in the installation insulation, door panels, running cables and hoses.
  • Quality, accuracy, and the ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, and diagram form to prepare cut lists.
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.


WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ABILITIES

  • Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Normal range of hearing and vision.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Experience with power tools, wiring, and measuring is desired, but we are willing to train the right people!
  • Quality, accuracy, and the ability to work within a crew in a fast-paced environment.
  • Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, upholstery, and/or metal fabrication skills are a plus.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License with good standing MVR.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail and a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
