Job description

WELDER NEEDED! CAN INTERVIEW IMMEDIATELY! 1st SHIFT!

The Welder will cut stainless steel pipe to precise lengths, attach appropriate fittings, and operate an orbital welding machine to complete high-quality welds. While the role involves minimal manual welding, a strong understanding of welding processes and a sharp eye for detail are essential to ensure clean, uniform cuts and consistent weld appearance.

Essential Skills

  • Practical understanding of welding processes and weld quality requirements.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate orbital welding equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure uniform cuts, proper fit-up, and consistent weld appearance.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications related to pipe cutting and welding.
  • Comfort working with stainless steel pipe and related fittings.
  • Commitment to following safety procedures in a fabrication and welding environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • TIG welding exposure is a major plus, particularly on stainless steel pipe.
  • Willingness to pursue additional certifications and training related to welding and pipe fabrication.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team supporting large data center cooling pipe projects.
