We are looking for an energetic and experienced Florida Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team. Our main office is located in Hollywood, FL, and this position is an IN-OFFICE position only.

Responsibilities
• Organizing files
• Docketing and scheduling events
• Filling out legal forms and assisting clients with filling out forms
• Drafting letters and court documents for attorney review
• Writing reports and legal documents for attorney review
• Communicating updates to clients and gathering information
• Helping attorneys prepare cases for hearings
• Assisting attorneys in the courtroom and meetings
• Weekly case management meetings and logging updates to case files
• Back up, including but not limited to: Check e-filing; Answer phones; Scheduling
• Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
• Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal education
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must have great time-management skills and organizational skills
• Florida Probate paralegal for 2+ years required
• Florida Estate Planning, and/or Guardianship paralegal for 2+ years preferred
• A high school diploma is required, but advanced training at a college or university is preferred
• Experience with document building software, WealthCounsel, and/or Westlaw Form Builder is required, but will consider candidates with similar software experience
• Experience with Clio Manage is required, but we will consider candidates with similar practice management software experience
• Experience with using Google Mail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar is preferred, and a plus but not required
• Type 70-100 WPM is required
