Job description

The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our Residential Maintenance team. The Maintenance Worker willprovide supportive services to the Ranch in order to achieve an environment that is safe, accessible, and appropriate for the needs of the personnel and clients.

Our continuum of care addresses every stage and aspect of what children may be experiencing after traumas caused by mental illness, abuse, or neglect. With help from The Buckeye Ranch, they're empowered to overcome obstacles, tap into their resilience, and move forward toward healthy, fulfilling lives.

What you'll do:

  • Provide maintenance to Residential campus.
  • Carry the Maintenance Department Emergency On-Call phone as required by the on-call schedule.
  • Is knowledgeable about job safety duties/responsibilities and demonstrates safe work practices as it pertains to the position held. Promptly reports unsafe conditions, situations, incidents, or injuries.
  • Responsible for obtaining required tools, returning such tools to storage, and maintaining tools in usable condition. Certain Maintenance personnel will also be charged with the responsibility of safeguarding job-related inventory.

Who you are:

  • You have a high school diploma, or GED.
  • You have two years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • You have an active driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
