Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Student must have:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Dependable, responsible, and able to work scheduled hours consistently.
  • Ability to provide courteous and professional customer service to students, employees, and visitors.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn library systems and technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Summary of Duties:
Provide customer service and operational support for library services by assisting patrons, maintaining library materials and records, and supporting daily library operations. The Student Employee performs circulation and administrative tasks, processes materials for intercampus delivery, assists patrons with library technology and equipment, and helps maintain an organized, accessible library environment. The position requires attention to detail, effective communication, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while developing library-specific knowledge through on-the-job training.
