SALES PROFESSIONAL - WESTERN PA, EASTERN OHIO & WEST VIRGINIA TERRITORY

Preferred Home Base: Columbus, Ohio

Daily territory travel with some overnight.

We're looking for an experienced Sales Professional with a successful track record in the flooring, tile, construction products, building materials, or related industry. If you enjoy building relationships, solving customer challenges, and helping customers succeed, this is an opportunity to represent one of the most respected brands in the industry.

What You'll Do

Grow the Business

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and jobsite activity
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans and growth strategies
  • Utilize CRM tools to track activities, opportunities, and customer engagement

Build Strong Customer Partnerships

  • Develop relationships with distributors, contractors, architects, designers, and other industry influencers
  • Strengthen existing customer relationships while expanding market penetration
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and responsiveness throughout the sales process

Provide Technical Expertise

  • Conduct product demonstrations, contractor clinics, and educational training programs
  • Support contractors on jobsites with product recommendations and technical guidance
  • Drive product specification activity within the architectural and design communities
  • Partner closely with technical, marketing, and customer support teams to provide complete customer solutions

 


What you'll bring to ARDEX

  • 5+ years of outside sales experience
  • Knowledge of flooring or tiling installation systems
  • Technical proficiency in specs and design
  • High energy, customer-first mindset
  • Strong presentation and hands-on skills

Requirements

  • Four (4) year college degree is preferred, or minimum completed high school diploma with relevant industry work experience
  • Ability to lift to 70 pounds occasionally and carry up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to use power and non-power tools
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout territory
  • Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
