Job description

ComResource is looking for a Manager, Telecommunications.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned staff, projects, and budgets effectively and responsibly.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise competent staff; mentor, coach, and develop team members' performance and career growth.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate goals and objectives, including performance goals, priorities, and development plans with team members on a monthly basis.
  • Deliver Information Services presentations to various committees and administration as appropriate or requested.
  • Prioritize, communicate, distribute, and monitor assigned projects.
  • Manage scope, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and quality in collaboration with leadership.
  • Manage diverse project teams with multi-functional representation.
  • Oversee systems and services, including staff assignment to projects, development of work plans, monitoring of system design and development progress, systems training, implementation, and ongoing support and maintenance.
  • Implement project management methodology and disaster recovery and security processes with team members.
  • Facilitate problem management and change management processes to ensure desired outcomes.
  • Implement and support Identity Management program components, including user provisioning, single sign-on, and web access management.
  • Document and implement information security procedures as required by the Information Security program.
  • Monitor compliance with information security policies and procedures among employees, contractors, and third parties related to user access management.
  • Monitor advancements in technologies and changes in legislation and accreditation standards that affect identity and access management.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and secure user provisioning into enterprise systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships to contractual obligations of performance and deliverables; assist in vendor contract negotiations and ensure ongoing support and issue resolution.
  • Assess vendor performance regularly and work to identify key future providers.
  • Manage identified short- and long-range goals and plans for the Systems Engineering department, ensuring alignment with strategic mission, goals, and priorities.
  • Analyze, identify, and document information requirements and priorities for assigned areas.
  • Research and recommend best practices for new and emerging technology infrastructure.
  • Facilitate work process improvements and implement procedures and systems to make internal and external processes available for general use.
  • Prepare and monitor capital and expense budgets for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Participate in the annual planning process and make recommendations to support overall planning and budgeting.

Essentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer information science, management, healthcare administration, or a healthcare-related field.
  • Proven experience in IT management, including staff management, project management, and vendor management.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management, including user provisioning, single sign-on, and web access management.
  • Demonstrated experience with information security policies, compliance, and user access management.
  • Strong project management skills, including scope, timeline, budget, and quality management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
