Flexible Supplemental Income | Approximately Eight or Fewer Court Appearances Per Month | Administrative Support Provided | Compatible With Your Existing Practice

This is a flexible, low-volume contract opportunity designed for attorneys seeking reliable supplemental income without the burden of managing intake, scheduling, staffing, or day-to-day administrative work.

Most attorneys in this role maintain a separate practice, full-time position, government position, or independent caseload alongside this opportunity.

Why Attorneys Like This Role

  • Approximately eight or fewer in-person court appearances per month
  • Many matters resolved proactively without a court appearance becoming necessary
  • Flat monthly compensation structure
  • Cases consolidated and organized for efficiency
  • Administrative and operational support provided by the firm
  • You maintain control over legal strategy and case resolution decisions
  • Future representation of the client outside of firm-referred matters is entirely permissible
  • Representation is limited to pre-trial negotiation and resolution; trial work is explicitly excluded

The most serious matters handled in this role generally involve high-speed traffic offenses, reckless operation allegations, and other misdemeanor traffic-related charges.

You serve as attorney of record through resolution of the matter, while the firm's administrative and case-management staff assist with filings, scheduling coordination, client communication, prosecutor outreach facilitation, and operational support so you can focus on negotiation strategy and efficient case resolution.

Many matters are resolved proactively through negotiation before a court appearance becomes necessary, at the discretion of the attorney.

This opportunity is intended to provide consistent supplemental income alongside an attorney's existing practice or employment and is not intended to serve as an attorney's sole source of revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in assigned traffic matters throughout Franklin County
  • Review case materials and determine negotiation strategy
  • Negotiate with prosecutors and pursue favorable resolutions
  • Appear in court when necessary for assigned sessions
  • Provide brief post-resolution updates through the firm's case-management system

Administrative Support Provided By The Firm

  • Client intake and onboarding
  • Case organization and document management
  • Scheduling coordination
  • Filing assistance
  • Docket consolidation assistance
  • Client communication support
  • General case-management support

Requirements

  • Active Ohio law license in good standing
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout Franklin County when necessary
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Professionalism and responsiveness

Compensation & Structure

  • Flat monthly compensation structure
  • Compensation remains consistent despite monthly case-volume fluctuations
  • 1099 independent contractor position
  • Designed as supplemental income compatible with an existing practice or workload

Work Location

Primarily remote with limited in-person court appearances as needed throughout Franklin County, Ohio.

Company Description

Alexandria Law Group is what happens when independent law firms stop working in isolation and start building together.
We are a national network of established firms uniting our attorneys, relationships, marketing reach, technology, and hard-won local knowledge under one shared mission: to provide reliable, vetted appearance counsel, overflow support, and local counsel coverage to law firms across the country.
We are not a referral service or a directory that simply hands over a name and steps back. We are a single firm, built from many, that stands behind every appearance.
Our model is designed to help attorneys generate consistent supplemental income while maintaining their existing practice, employment, or independent caseload. By centralizing client acquisition, intake, case administration, and operational support, we allow attorneys to focus on legal work instead of administrative overhead.
We believe many traffic matters can be resolved efficiently through early engagement, practical negotiation, and strong local representation. This approach creates better outcomes for clients while reducing unnecessary court appearances and inefficiencies in the legal process.
Our goal is to build long-term relationships with attorneys who value professional autonomy, efficient practice management, and the opportunity to grow their book of business with minimal administrative burden. Participating attorneys are encouraged to build lasting professional relationships with the clients they represent, and any future representation outside the scope of a referred traffic matter remains entirely between the attorney and the client.
As our network expands across North Carolina and other states, attorneys have the opportunity to establish a local presence, develop client relationships, and become part of a growing platform designed to support the modern practice of law.
Alexandria Law Group is scheduled to publicly launch nationwide in August 2026 and is currently operational and hiring for immediate roles. Attorneys who join now have the opportunity to become early participants in a rapidly growing network built to support efficient, technology-enabled traffic defense representation across the United States.
