Job description

Purpose of Position
The Maintenance Controller is responsible for managing mechanical irregularities and planning for the accomplishment of all unscheduled maintenance activities. The Maintenance Controller is the primary point of contact regarding aircraft out of service and the current mechanical status of all aircraft. This position is a member of a team that arranges and manages the safe, compliant, timely, and efficient delivery of aircraft maintenance support to aircraft operations as required, on a 24/7 basis. Maintenance Controllers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies as outlined in the NJA 14 CFR 135 General Maintenance Manual for NetJets Aviation aircraft maintenance prior to return to service and provide maximum airworthy aircraft availability.
Tasks and Responsibilities
โ€ข Ensures that all aircraft that are down for maintenance are repaired in a safe, compliant, and timely manner per, per the regulations,
NetJets General Maintenance Manual, and approved manuals.
โ€ข Liaises with the System Operations Center (SOC) to keep them advised of aircraft maintenance status.

โ€ข Coordinates the maintenance, tooling, and parts support for all maintenance activities with our maintenance providers and internal
departments.
โ€ข Ensures that all departments affected by a grounded aircraft are aware of the status of that aircraft.
โ€ข Collaborates with the Director of Maintenance, Flight Operations Duty Manager, MCC Managers/Supervisors, Pilots, Maintenance
Vendors, and all others associated with each aircraft certification.
โ€ข Monitor shipping of requested aircraft parts for grounded aircraft away from line or base stations are processed and shipped in a
timely manner. Escalate any part procurement issues through management.
โ€ข Tracking the airworthiness status of each aircraft in real time and providing this information to the System Operations
Center/Dispatch.
โ€ข Providing real-time controls on the airworthiness of in-service aircraft through the coordinated use of an approved deferral and
tracking programs.
โ€ข Coordinate with Pilots via phone and software applications to evaluate and disposition aircraft faults.
