What are Remote Flight Operations Controllers?

Remote Flight Operations Controllers are professionals responsible for monitoring, managing, and coordinating aircraft operations from a remote location, rather than from an on-site control tower or operations center. They use advanced communication systems and software to track flights, communicate with pilots, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Their duties often involve responding to emergencies, updating flight plans, and facilitating efficient air traffic movement, all while working remotely.
