Major Duties

The ATS IA Services team is a dynamic, change-leading team that delivers value-driven Reliability and Operational Excellence Services to our customers worldwide. Reliability Services are a growing component of the overall delivery of value to ATS' customers globally and offers an opportunity for an opportunistic individual to create a well-defined offer structure of high-value service solutions to drive ongoing value This role balances strategic development of ATS Industrial Automation (IA) Reliability Services offerings with handson leadership of project execution and customer engagement.

As the Reliability Services Manager you will be responsible for the effective development, planning, and execution of all ATS IA reliability projects. You will support project execution through business development, project management, resource allocation, and collaboration with other subject matter experts. You will work to monitor performance and execution and strive for continuous improvement and process optimization in both project delivery and business processes. Your role will be crucial in driving business growth, delivery of quality services, and customer satisfaction.

Specific Responsibilities

   Technical Sales Support: Enable the sales organization to position and sell Reliability Services by translating customer needs into clearly defined, technically sounds, and commercially viable solutions. Develop technical proposals including description of solution, deliverable definition, cost estimation, and proposed schedule.
   Management of Reliability Services Projects: Manage the execution of Reliability Services projects including project planning, resource identification and allocation, and cost and schedule management. Ensure the correct tools and processes are selected for project execution and that all team members are trained on the tools, process, and project execution expectations. Ensure all project risks are identified and mitigation actions are in place, and monitor the project to ensure the highest levels of quality execution and delivery are met.
   New Product Development: Based on the voice of the customer, both internal and external, work with cross-functional teams to modify existing solutions or develop new solutions to support reliability and operational excellence objectives.
   Team Leadership and Capability Development: Lead, mentor, and develop Reliability Services resources, fostering technical excellence, consistency in execution, and a strong customerfocused culture. Support workforce planning and capability growth aligned with business demand.
   Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration across departments to align activities with strategic goals. Work closely with functional leaders and the ATS Life Science Reliability team to ensure goals, services, project execution, and product quality are consistent across all ATS Reliability Services.
   Reliability Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the primary ATS IA subject matter expert for Reliability and Asset Management, providing technical leadership, training within ATS and to customers on Reliability principles and ATS IA Reliability services capability. If necessary, be available to augment resources and assist in Reliability project execution.
   Support Financial Reporting: Support management and the finance department in accurate reporting and forecasting of bookings, revenue, EBIT, and margin and any other financial reporting requirements.
   Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of Reliability Services operations and sales. Develop reporting mechanisms to provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
   Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization. Foster creativity, experimentation, and knowledge sharing to drive efficiency gains and competitive advantage. Utilize data analysis and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement and process optimization.
   Owner for Relialytics: Serve as the business owner for the Relialytics platform, ensuring it supports scalable service delivery, functions optimally, and is continually improved to meet growing business needs.
   Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
   Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Strategy, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
   Proven experience in operations management, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement.
   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
   Demonstrated experience owning or contributing to a P&L or service business.
   Demonstrated success in leading teams and driving change.
   Proven ability to scale services, tools, or offerings across regions or business units.
   Experience working with capital equipment, manufacturing operations, or assetintensive industries.
   Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
   Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.

 Assist in investigating accidents/incidents.
 Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running, or rough and boisterous conduct.
