Job description

New Albany Country Club is now accepting resumes for a part-time Licensed Hair Designer/Barber or Licensed Cosmetologist for our private country club clientele.

This position is part-time. Schedule varies.

This position will pay an hourly rate plus a commission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
 

  • Perform a consultation to get the member's opinion on the desired hairstyle.
  • Cut, trim, and shape hair into the desired style.
  • Utilize clippers, combs, brushes, scissors, and blow-dryers to cut and style hair.
  • Apply products such as mousse or serum to hair.
  • Responsible for cleaning the hair salon after each client, including taking used towels to laundry and restocking for the next hair.
  • Responsible for plugging in electrical devices upon arrival and unplugging after use.
  • Responsible for informing the Supervisor of salon product needs to perform client hair services. 
  • Book all appointments through Bath & Tennis and Welcome Center.
  • Make sure all members are billed for their services through the Welcome Center.
  • Promote services and maintain posted/advertised hours of services available.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Must Carry a Current Hair Designer /Cosmetologist License
