Lead DevOps Engineer
Location: Columbus, OH or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Role Overview
In this contingent resource assignment, you may consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. We are seeking a hands-on Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, cloud-native platforms that enable secure and efficient application delivery. This role focuses on Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms, GitOps-driven CI/CD workflows, and automation across OCP, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and operate scalable cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Implement and manage GitOps-driven CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and deployment tools.
  • Automate infrastructure and application deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines for microservices across distributed environments.
  • Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python for CI/CD and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Enable cloud-native solutions across Azure and Google Cloud Platform environments.
  • Integrate DevSecOps practices, observability, and monitoring into pipelines.
  • Optimize deployment processes to improve reliability, reduce errors, and increase speed.
  • Collaborate with development teams to enable self-service platforms and improve developer productivity.
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and audit standards are met within DevOps processes.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of DevOps / Platform Engineering experience with strong Kubernetes and OpenShift (OCP) expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with GitOps, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and deployment tools such as Harness.
  • Strong experience with Java build tools (Maven/Gradle) and automation using Python.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native architecture.
  • DevSecOps practices, observability, and pipeline instrumentation experience.
  • Certifications (Kubernetes, DevOps) or exposure to AI/agentic frameworks.
  • Experience working in regulated environments with governance and audit controls.
