What You'll Do:
- Provide postpartum and mother-baby nursing care in a hospital setting
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Administer medications and monitor patient status
- Support new mothers and families during recovery and bonding
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC
- Float to similar acuity units as needed
- Assist with IV starts, labor & delivery support, and postpartum education
What You Need:
- Valid Ohio RN licensure
- Minimum 2 years postpartum nursing experience
- BLS & IV certification required
- IV start skills, L&D experience preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment:
This assignment offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive postpartum unit within a leading Ohio hospital. The shift is scheduled for 12 hours daily, with the possibility to float to similar units based on patient needs.
