Job description

Continental Adjusters is seeking a Licensed Public Adjuster or someone willing to diligently study and achieve the license, to serve as a Solicitor, focused on sales and business development in the commercial property insurance space. This is a true hunter role—you’ll be identifying opportunities, engaging property owners, and securing signed Letters of Representation (LORs). Once a client is signed, Continental handles estimating, claim strategy, and insurance negotiations—you focus solely on bringing in the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and engage commercial property owners impacted by fire, water, storm, or other insured losses.
  • Educate potential clients on the value of public adjusting and secure signed LORs.
  • Build and maintain referral networks with contractors, attorneys, property managers, and real estate professionals.
  • Conduct site visits, attend local industry events, and follow up with leads in your territory.
  • Collaborate with Continental’s internal team post-signing to ensure a seamless client handoff.
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and lead pipeline reports.

We Provide:

  • Full support for estimating, claim processing, and insurer negotiations.
  • Established brand, proven back-office systems, and marketing tools.
  • Guidance and mentorship from experienced adjusters and industry leaders.

You Bring:

  • A sales-driven mindset with a proven ability to close.
  • Field experience in insurance, construction, real estate, or restoration (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, persistence, and professional presence.

Compensation:

Commission-based, with high earning potential based on performance.
