Job description

Benefits:

Solterra Wellness Club is hiring founding Yoga Instructors to help launch our new integrated wellness club at The Galaxy at Polaris.
We are looking for experienced instructors who combine strong technical knowledge with exceptional cueing, thoughtful sequencing, presence, energy, and the ability to create a polished, welcoming class experience.
Our yoga program will include heated and non-heated formats designed to offer members a range of experiences, from energizing movement to mobility, restoration, and stillness.
If you are an instructor who cares deeply about the quality of the practice, the people in the room, and the experience surrounding it, we would like to meet you.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead safe, engaging yoga classes within your training, experience, and approved formats.
  • Create thoughtful, well-paced sequences with attention to alignment, breath, transitions, and movement quality.
  • Provide clear cueing, appropriate modifications, and options for varying experience levels and abilities.
  • Create an environment where clients feel welcomed, challenged, supported, and comfortable practicing at their own level.
  • Build authentic client relationships that support retention and community.
  • Deliver a consistent Solterra experience while bringing your own personality and teaching strengths to the room.
  • Contribute to workshops, events, specialty classes, and launch programming.
Qualified instructors may also have opportunities to provide private or specialty yoga sessions based on training, experience, availability, and client demand.
What We’re Looking For

  • RYT-200 or higher from a recognized yoga teacher training program.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching group yoga classes.
  • Strong understanding of sequencing, alignment, breath, modifications, and safe progression.
  • Excellent cueing, teaching presence, and professional communication.
  • Ability to adapt instruction for different experience levels and abilities.
  • High standards for preparation, reliability, professionalism, and client care.
  • CPR/AED certification, or willingness to obtain prior to opening.
  • Ability to commit to a consistent recurring teaching schedule.
RYT-500, advanced or specialty training, heated yoga experience, and experience teaching multiple formats are strongly preferred. Experience in boutique fitness, premium wellness, or hospitality-driven environments is also valued.
Compensation & Perks
  • $30–$45 per completed group class based on experience, credentials, and class format.
  • Attendance-based bonus opportunities as classes fill.
  • Private or specialty-session compensation paid separately when applicable.
  • Discounts on Solterra services, retail, and café offerings.
  • Opportunity to help shape Solterra’s yoga program as a founding instructor.
This is an independent contractor (1099) position.
Schedule
Consistent recurring teaching opportunities are available. Early morning, evening, and weekend availability is strongly preferred, and peak-time availability is a major advantage. Onboarding and launch preparation will begin prior to opening.
