The work - How you will contribute: In accordance with the Wallick Mission and Values, the Development Associate provides key support to the project team in all efforts associated with the development process.       

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 
        
  • Assume a key role in the development process with a focus on site selection, site feasibility, application preparation, scoring analysis, public approvals, and development feasibility research.
  • Understanding of critical path within each project timeline and assisting Development Manager with adherence to timeline deliverables.
  • Assist with due diligence in closing of projects.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 
Travel:
Required as necessary to travel to project sites, planning departments or community meetings.
    
About You:             
  • Bachelor’s degree in Development, City and Regional /Urban Planning, Public Administration, Finance or Business Development or related field. 
  • Previous experience with some components of real estate development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.   
  • Must have strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.    
  • Ability to analyze and interpret reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills a must.
