General Description

Under little supervision, perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the siteโ€™s business goals and objectives. You will routinely interact with suppliers, vendors, customer, and internal company associates. You are expected to be a self-starter, a good manager of time, work independently and follow the Cirba Solutions standards of safety and conduct.

Independently or as a team member, you will inspect, complete preventative maintenance, and complete corrective maintenance to the buildings and machines in the maintenance department area of responsibility.

You will be required to train and mentor entry level maintenance personnel and should be the subject matter expert on equipment within your department.

You will perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance requirements to the buildings/ grounds, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems for the production and maintenance equipment.

Such assignment will be made by the maintenance manager.

You are expected to have some expertise in the industry requirements for welding, electrical, instrumentation, mechanics, machining.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Be able to read and interpret one- line diagrams, schematics, block diagrams, and technical equipment manuals and make recommendations for repairs.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform mechanic trade skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions including but not limited to machine maintenance, building maintenance, laboratory plumbing, lighting, etc.
  • Perform electrical work, up to but not requiring a licensed electrician, including pulling electrical wire, bending conduit, replacing outlets, wiring motors, planning installs, and planning modifications.
  • You will be an integral part of the decisions made on new equipment purchases and design and are expected to give solid recommendations based on your experience and expertise.
  • Be able to troubleshoot equipment to component level and provide failure analysis when known.
  • Be able to design and lead in welding projects to repair and/ or fabricate production and maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to understand PLC ladder logic and troubleshoot using it.
  • Be able to plan jobs, measure, cut, and install piping and tubing of all types.
  • Maintain machinery, equipment, and tools by cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and/or oiling to ensure optimal working order including fork trucks, floor scrubbers, mowers, conveyors, hoists, hammer mills, shaker tables, tanks, etc.
  • Remove, repair, and re-install diaphragm pumps and associated plumbing.
  • Performs fabrication and design of approved equipment modifications.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Perform simple work in operations of the trades such as cutting, punching, drilling, tapping, bending, bolting, filing, soldering, grinding, polishing, carpentry, concrete repair, etc.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Ensures proper application of Lock-out Tag-out that may be needed to perform duties.
  • Maintain and ensure that all inspections for eye wash stations, decon sumps, emergency exit lights, and CO2 detectors are completed in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to communicate with all maintenance technicians and management, both individually and as a group to ensure all maintenance issues are understood.
  • Participate in root cause analysis processes.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.








QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five (5) years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read, interpret and analyze electrical/mechanical schematics.
  • Basic knowledge and troubleshooting skills of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to identify and diagnose problems and implement corrective action.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications and other computer programs.
  • Knowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures including Lock Out Tag OutGood applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be self-motivated.
  • Ability to work from heights (Ladders, Aerial Lifts, etc)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.

  • High School Diploma or GED
