About the Role
Are you passionate about helping people with developmental disabilities live more connected, fulfilling lives? As the Community Integration Manager, you'll lead a team dedicated to supporting individuals in building independence, discovering their strengths, and becoming active members of their communities.
You'll guide staff, oversee services, and create opportunities for participants to thrive - all while making sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and with heart.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and Support Staff: Hire, train, coach, and guide your team to deliver person-centered, high-quality services.
  • Build Community Connections: Help staff develop partnerships with local organizations for volunteer work, social outings, and skill-building.
  • Ensure High-Quality Services: Monitor programs to make sure they are safe, inclusive, and designed around individual goals.
  • Train for Success: Provide ongoing training so your team meets goals around community integration, employment, and informed choice.
  • Coordinate Transportation: Make sure participants get where they need to go safely and with minimal restrictions.
  • Keep Communication Flowing: Work closely with families, providers, and service teams to ensure everyone is informed and involved.
  • Handle the Unexpected: Step in when needed to help with coverage, transport individuals, or support participants and staff.
  • Manage Finances: Oversee participant funds and activity budgets to ensure accurate and responsible spending.

What You'll Bring

  • Supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to developmental disability services
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stay calm and think clearly under pressure.
  • Ability to lead through change and stay flexible
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical (or doctor's clearance) for transportation duties.
  • Certifications required for this position, which must be kept up to date.

Work Environment
  • You'll work both in the community and on-site - sometimes in busy or unpredictable settings like animal shelters or volunteer centers.
  • Expect moderate noise levels, variable weather, and occasional lifting or physical support.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be comfortable walking, standing, bending, and occasionally lifting (up to 100 lbs. with help)
  • Assist with mobility, hygiene, or crisis support when needed
  • Use a computer regularly for documentation and planning
